AfricaWildTruck Camp and Lodge in Mulanje is an eco friendy lodge and camp located at about one hour’s drive from Blantyre International Airport, and on the road to Mozambique, just 6 km from the Muloza-Milange border post.

It offers a pause before, after or during travel or a safari in Malawi. It is the perfect place to start your hiking journey on Mulanje Mountain and cross the mountain.

There are rooms and camping/dorm, with a bar and an exclusive restaurant (just for guests) with an Italian taste: the ideal place to share travel experiences and an evening at the fireplace!

With secular and giant trees, a secluded garden overlooking tea hills, and Mulanje Mountain in the background, AfricaWildTruck camp and lodge has converted an old colonial red brick building dated back to 1912. Formerly used as a library, it has been renovated to impact as little as possible on the environment. It offers an atmosphere of tranquility, peace and relaxation.

A wide variety of activities can be arrange during your visit. From day hikes to mulitple day hikes to Mulanje, tea walks, village walks, weekend visits to markets, and botanical walks too. All activities need to be prebooked before your arrival.
