Samuel Leonard Chihana, from Mvuu Lodge & Camp in Liwonde National Park, talks about his long time relationship with Nellie the Mama Elephant. A female elephant he's watched for a number of years, she has a distinguishable feature- a missing ear.

The most memorable Safari

5 minutes into our river cruise we could not believe our luck when we saw a baby hippo, McCLoud- our incredible guide for the weekend, told us it must have been less than two weeks old...cute!

Wildlife Parks of Central and Southern Malawi

Malawi has long been known for its friendly peoples, relaxed atmosphere and lakeshore retreats. There have always been wildlife viewing opportunities, but historically they have been limited, especially when compared to neighbouring countries like Zambia.
