ce the lake and lie on a 600 metre (2000ft) natural wide sandy beach.
A variety of watersports: Scuba Diving, Parasailing, Catamarans, Water skiing, Hobie Cats, Island Cruises on our M.V. Sunbird including overnight cruises; floodlit tennis courts, squash court, floodlit beach volleyball court, floodlit 5-a-side mini soccer pitch are at your disposal. Two swimming pools are available, one of which is Olympic sized, salt treated and located at the beach. Excursions by boat or road are available to Liwonde National Park, Cape Maclear, Zomba Plateau, Mua Mission and other places of interest, offering a true taste of Africa. The Mlambe Golf Course, now a favourite to foreign professionals after two successful pro-am golf tournaments, offers state of the art 9-hole par-3 golfing, among the bao
bab trees (Mlambe trees).
Air Malawi flies into Club Makokola four days a week. The aerodrome is open to private and commercial traffic.
