For example, visits are organised to see village life among the Tumbuka Tribe and to view the work of the Matunkha Centre, a community based Orphan Care Programme.
The setting is the unspoilt rural area of Rumphi with a true African feel. Guests are accommodated in simple, traditional rondavels with their own bathrooms. Camping and dormitory accommodation is also available. A restaurant
serves drinks, snacks and full meals. A small souvenir shop is on site. There is ample space to relax and to swap stories with other guests. Internet connections are available.
