Nyika National Park
A park of outstanding natural beauty, the Nyika is home to a bewildering variety of unusual birds and game including roan antelope, eland, zebra, elephant and leopard. From September to April, a myriad of wild flowers and orchids burst forth. From Chelinda Lodge,
which sleeps sixteen guests in eight luxurious, en suite log cabins, discover the wonders of the plateau by vehicle, on foot, horseback or mountain bike. There is trout fishing too!Chelinda Camp comprises en suite rooms and four cottages. A stay here also allow guests to partake of any of the activities enjoyed by guests at the Lodge.

Chelinda Lodge is currently closed to visitors. Any change in this situation will be posted on this website as soon as it is known.
Visitors to Nyika National Park wishing to stay at Chelinda Camp as part of a mobile safari will now need to contact a tour company in Malawi. (See: Touring Malawi).
There are no horse riding facilities on the Nyika at this time.
